life happens....

The kids were all excited to see Santa this year. Well, besides Josh! At least Trevor is smiling, right? And, yes, Trevor did construct stephens house. That is why it is still standing!
I helped with Annas and realized that I have no gingerbread house talent. Doesn't Joshua look like that kid from A Christmas story?
Life happens even when I dont update my blog! We had a great holiday season. Thanksgiving was wonderful in St. George. It was so good to see family! Christmas was great here in Boise. The kids had a fun day with their new "stuff" but I think their favorite was getting pajamas. Kind of weird, right? We, of course, missed all our family and friends and hope that you all had a great Holiday!
We are now in the process of buying a house now that our lease is up. Our closing date is on Feb. 5th. The house is in Meridian which means our kids will have to switch schools but they want to so thats good. We are all excited, Trevor more so than I. I just remember all the work it takes to move and I kind of dread it. We will have a month to do it though. And we will just do it gradually throughout the month. It will be nice to have something more permanent and bigger! It is hard to believe that Emily is going to be 8 soon! She is excited to be baptized. My baby is growing up! Annabelle is doing really well in gymnastics. She got moved up a class level. The next class is Team which means she will have to do competition meets but we can wait awhile for that! Stephen is so funny. He has a friend that is girl who we drive home from preschool. Everytime we drop her off, he gets out of the car, walks her up to the house and opens the door for her. He is such a gentleman! Joshua talks more and more each day. He has started to sing and will repeat songs in the car. It is so cute. He sings "We will rock you" a lot. We love it! Trevor is starting school again in about a week. He took a bit of a longer break than we expected but it will be good for him to go back! That is about all that is new here! Such an exciting life!
This blog is dedicated to Katherine..... I told you I would update!!! :)

How fun life is in Boise for you guys. Your kids all sound like they are great just like their mom, and probably their dad too, ha. A new house is awesome, but I know how you feel about moving, ugh! Good luck with it all, and maybe one of these days we'll meet again in real life!
