at the end of the day....

I have to say that this is NOT typical, less someone actually thinks I let my kid go dirty all day..... But he was a busy, hungry boy and I didn't want to dirty another shirt. I hate laundry.
And there he is right after his bath looking so clean and kissable!

Isn't bleach the best thing in the world? I'm glad to see I am not the only Mom who lets kids run around in a dirty shirt!

Haha this makes me laugh! My sis's boy is the same way, can't keep um clean for the life of you. But that's ok, they don't mind, so all is well! Hope you guys are doin so, so great! Can't wait to see ya'll in just one more month! AHHH!

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

It was a lovely Sunday. The children played happily while I browsed the internet (I want to say I was looking at lds.org... but I wasn't) They were chattering with each other and I vaguely listened in the background of my head. It really was nice until Stephen said a naughty word~ to Emily. My lazy mind picked right up and I whipped my head around. "What did you just say" "I didn't know it was a bad word" "Yes you did. Otherwise you wouldn't be starting to cry right now" I felt just like the mom from that Christmas movie as I marched him right up the stairs and into the bathroom. Thank goodness I still buy bar soap. I stuck it right in his mouth and continued to lecture him about why we don't say those words and how those words hurt Heavenly Fathers feelings.
