Books...

I have about 3 books that I am currently reading right now, going back and forth. Have any of you read Rebecca (Daphney Du Maurier)? Supposedly it's creepy but I haven't gotten to any creepy parts yet, it's just really good. And it has my attention, that's for sure.
I love to read but my day has no time until 11:00 at night. Then I'm up till 2:00 in the morning reading... I'm really tired today. 


My girls have always loved reading also....
So tell me, what is your FAVORITE book?
I'm always up for suggestions~

It's probably my most favorite hobby...
I have not read Rebecca, but our Relief Society's Book Club did a couple of months ago. Supposedly they enjoyed it too, and I am now wishing I had participated.
Favorite book...?? Oh goodness, there are so many to choose from! -I know you and I share a common interest in Jane Eyre. Speaking of which, since you love movies, Did you know the BBC Films are on the post production for the 2011 adaptation of that book?? I am so *excited*. :o)
ANYhow, books... If you are really interested in knowing what some of my favorite books are, you should seriously check out my Goodreads.com account. I rank & review the majority of books I read, and it's been helpful to get suggestions from other people (and friends) there, too.

The girls are so little in this picture! Sad, how time flies so fast. I read Rebecca in my old book club and I really liked it! I don't know if I can pick a favorite but I just finished the Help and loved it.

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers...hands down the best love story I have ever read. It is a more modern-day story of Hosea and Gomer from the Bible. Such a great book!

Dog and Cat...Stevens, that is.

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. It took me watching the movie Harold and Maude to really listen to his music. Wow. And hey, I'm not going to be shy.  I'm going to sing out to the wild world that I love his songs. (if you also like Cat Stevens, then you'll understand the previous sentence...)

Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
