Look what's staring at me:

Every time I sit at the computer, these little guys are staring at me. 
I found them at Goodwill a long time ago and I love them. 
Trevor does not feel my affinity for them.
They may creep him out a little bit but he deals.
I should name them.
 Actually, I'll make Josh name them for me; he's better at that than I am.

Did you know I'm kind of whiny?
 ( I know you know, Mom~lol)
It's going to be one of my revolutions this year. 
I just decided that.
 Now I have to write it down. 
At one time, I noticed that I made excuses a lot instead of owning up to my mistakes. 
I now try really hard to not give excuses. 
If I'm late, I try to just say I'm sorry instead of 
blaming my children for taking a long time to put on their shoes, 
or my baby having a messy diaper (I can't use that one anymore anyway).
So what I'm saying is that maybe if I put my mind to it, I can be better at not whining anymore too.
Whiny people can be really, really annoying. 
~I know you know what I mean~

I made some biscuits today and my kids liked them!!!! 
(that deserves way more exclamations than a measly 4)
It's not traditional Haslem grub since there's some tomatoes in them. 
But they also have a lot of cheese, so maybe they could be good to one of the original 7 Haslems?
(well, besides Chelsey. I know how she feels about tomatoes)

Haha Sarah are you saying I hate tomatoes? Because your right, although I am trying really hard to try and like them because Adam LOVES THEM! It isn't the taste, they have a nasty texture. By the way that is a way cute song! I would appreciate your kids to stop growing because they are really fun right now...and it makes me feel old

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
