Dinner was NOT a hit last night....

Trevor actually texted me during dinner "Why do you hate me??"
I thought the zucchini noodles were delicious, at least they were the first couple of bites and only as long as there was bacon in it. No worries though cause I fed him dessert: Zucchini cake.
But that, at least, was good.

Emily has decided to play the violin.
Doesn't she look adorable and happy?
And Annabelle looks scared....and adorable.
It's a great picture, right? Emily seems to have grown 3 inches over night. She's growing up!

Painting is just about done. I have put off mowing the lawn for 3 days now but tomorrow I have to do it. When you have to hike through the grass, then it's time to get to work.
Speaking of hiking, Josh and I hiked the "R"  mountain today with some friends.
And it was just as beautiful as before.
And we plan on doing it again tomorrow....
I cannot wait!

I've always wanted to try making zucchini noodles...looks like I'm not going to try to now haha! Jenee-maybe you should make Tuna Casserole for Adam, he loves that stuff...I on the other hand hate it, so he doesn't get it ever!

Sad~zucchini noodles are one of my favorite dishes! My family hates them too, so I must be weird! I like mine either with spaghetti sauce or caramelized onions and mushrooms!

Sarah have you had zuchinni noodles at Pizza Factory? They are the best. I haven't tried making them myself though- my kids like to complain about every dinner i make unless it's tacos.

This title made me laugh. The other night I made shepherd's pie and Brian said, "This is the WORST dinner EVER!!" Yep, it's so much fun being a mom.

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
