Chicks.
There are 25 of these little furry things in there!
I have yet to hold one.
(To be honest, I don't really want to. They're food, not pets)
Although my kids constantly want to hold them.
I told Trevor I'll take care of the dog if he takes care of the chicks.
So far it's working out really well.
But I'm afraid that Carl is going to get hungry and eat one.
And that would completely gross me out.
The other day, I couldn't find Carl and so I went to the laundry room and found him laying on the floor by
the chicks, trying to sleep, or trying to get up the courage to see what was in the box.
I took a head count and luckily all were still there, alive and chirping.
Just an FYI:
*We do not have a good, working camera at our house right now. So most pictures for the time being are going to be very, very bad since I have to use my phone.

I'm excited to hear about your experience with the chickens. I would like to have some, someday; for eggs and meat. (Maybe this sounds psycho... but I really want to see Trevor kill and skin one.) I think the first animal Scott wants to have is a pig. I want to think it's for food, but the way he talks... it sounds more like a "cute" pet.(?? L.O.L.)
I'm sorry to hear about your camera not working... You are seriously welcome to borrow my old Canon compact, point-and-shoot. It's just sitting on our computer desk, collecting dust. If not... I hope you get a new one for your birthday because I/we enjoy *seeing* what's going on with your family.
(Yikes! Sorry about the long comment here...)
