30 isn't that bad!

Really, it's not bad at all. In fact, I have had an absolutely lovely day. It started with me sharing my bed with four happy children who LOVE celebrating birthdays. Trevor woke them up and made them come and sing "the song" to me~ It was beautiful although a little pitchy :)
Joshua then got out the yoga mats and we did a little yoga together until he got frustrated and said he couldn't do it. So I ended up alone for the last 20 minutes. Well alone, meaning me and Michael Buble. He is great yoga music~I think so at least.
I also woke up 5 lbs lighter than I was in my twenties. and yes, it still counts even if I had to set the scale back 5 lbs before I stepped on. It made eating all those cookies and sweet potatoe fries and that huge hamburger very guilt free. (we went to Fuddruckers for dinner).
Trevor took me out tonight and we had a great time wandering the mall and target and eating yummy food... We were done 20 minutes early so we drove around a bit and talked and teased and had a grand time. I love that we have a truck and can still sit redneck style. It's nice to know that even though Emily is not sitting in the passenger seat in the front, I still chose to sit right next to Trevor. Who needs leg room anyway?
He bought me these super cool shoes. I had the exact same pair when I was in 3rd grade. I love them....
I was lucky enough to have Candice hang out with me for a few hours. Plus she colored my hair for me, so it was even better! Seriously, we could sit on the couch all day long being lazy and still have fun together~
And now trevor and I are scappin' P90x for the night and we're going to veg out in front of the  tv watching a movie and eating our dessert....
I think tomorrow morning I'll go ahead and set the scale back 10 lbs.
Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes! I love you all!
ETA (only because I want to remember this) Stpehen told me before bed that I still look like a teenager. He said that I'm too little to be 30. I love that kid....

I *love* having you as one of my (6) sister-in-laws, Sarah. As I've been reading your blog, I can just hear your soft spoken voice in my mind, and it brings a smile to my face. Your optomism and gratitude for Life is contagious...
