Australia Melbourne Mission

Joshua loved the idea of all the "stuff" that had to be done for his mission
but when it came time to do all that "stuff", 
he wasn't really into it.
He didn't help with his lesson on The Book of Mormon
or help to make his dinner and dessert.
But he did do a great job repeating everything I said during the lesson. 
And I think he learned a lot.  
Plus he is so dang cute.
That brown blob on his plate? That was his dessert which he decided this morning he doesn't like. Although everyone else in the family liked them.

AND

Today is his birthday!!!!
My big boy is now 4 years old. When I told him Happy Birthday this morning he said
 "I'm 4 but I don't look big".
 He thought he was actually going to grow. He made sure I noticed that he didn't grow by standing up for me and again repeating what he had already said.
All I could do was laugh.
He's growing up way too fast.....

Yes, he is "so dang cute"... I don't think I'll ever forget being his 'Potty-Pal'.
We are excited to come help celebrate his birthday, tonight.

(Also, where did he serve his mission again?)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSHY!!! He is so flipping cute Sarah. I loved seeing him and Stephen a couple weekends ago. He may not think he is getting big, but I sure do!

Dog and Cat...Stevens, that is.

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
