3 days without the internet..

That's okay cause it's given us lots of free time to do as we please (and actually we would have done all this had it been working also but for this posts' sake....)

We had lots of fun on Friday at Rigby Lake; our new favorite place.
We played in the sand and practiced our swimming and had a grand time.
Look at these girls thinking they're sweet stuff. Of course, that's cause they are. The sweetest of all...
I'm not sure what Emily is saying or maybe yelling. We'll pretend she's saying how much she loves her brothers. (ha ha.) We then went and enjoyed Rexburg, Idaho's county rodeo. The kids got tired and we left during the barrel racing but everything up to that point was great. Stephen even went out and chased a calf for cash with a bunch of other kids but didn't end up any richer than he already was, dang it. It was fun watching though.
Saturday our internet went out and didn't come back until Monday afternoon (I have a feeling that may happen a lot out here). So instead of spending all day browsing websites, we decided to finish our school shopping and get rid of the last of the wall paper. Which brings me to a good  point: sometimes my
stubborn-ness/independence comes back and bites me in the....butt. I thought I was doing so good tearing down the wallpaper, scraping it off with my fingernails, little by little. Trevor let me know an easier way to do it and it took 1/4 of the time.
But I'm happy to say that it's all gone now! Yippee!
Sunday was spent going to church and having the Sister missionaries over for dinner. Dinner was going great until Annabelle informed me, loudly, that I had broccoli in my teeth. Seriously...I could have gotten so embarrassed (but I didn't) and she could have gotten in so much trouble (but she didn't).
Then we played an awesome game of kickball that had absolutely no rules except that you had to at least run around mom before you could run home.
We spent some time looking for four leaf clovers and then went inside and took some crazy photos.
And that was our weekend without the internet.

Looks like it was a really good weekend. Maybe it will be a blessing have the internet down sometimes. That would be a massive blessing in our house!!

I'm pretty sure I would die if my internet went out for 3 days...I see no reason to get out of bed if I don't have the ability to bloghop. ;) Glad that YOU had a productive weekend without it though!
