Remember that line from Field of Dreams where the baseball player asks Kevin Costner if this is heaven? And Kevin responds "No, this is Iowa."?
Here is our heaven or what is commonly referred to as Idaho:
It may not look like much in a picture but just come visit us and you'll see what I mean....
Things are going perfectly for us in our new home. And by perfectly I mean that we love it cause it certainly isn't trouble free...
For example, our dryer doesn't work yet, it's taken me two days to just get the very front lawn mowed, there are bugs everywhere that have to constantly be smooshed, we have a den full of stuff and weeds that have to be pulled/burned.
But we can sit by our front window at the end of the day and watch the sun set while the kids get ready for bed. And leave our windows and doors open and still feel safe.
On Sunday we had one of our neighbors bring by some huckleberries. I thought it was nice at first but wasn't sure what to do with them. On Monday I made muffins with them and it changed my life! Not really...but they are the best tasting berry in a muffin I have ever had. I plan on dragging my family to the mountains soon to pick some of our own. I really love that neighbor now. Besides the fact that she brought us berries she also had one of her 12 kids come fix two of our bikes. Totally rad.
Our other neighbor brought us garden fresh zucchini, tomatoes, and potatoes and a loaf of bread.
Seriously, could we have picked better neighbors?
No, we couldn't have....
Like I said, we love it here. And Trevor only gets home 15 minutes later from work each day.
I think I can handle that....

Here's some of the house as it is now:
The messy den
Kitchen area
Front room from the hallway
Front room from the computer
You can laugh at this if you want. I do every time I go in there.
It's terribly funny.
Our bedroom.
I really can't wait to make this house our own. Like changing the kitchen light and painting walls and taking down wallpaper. All with time.
But for now I am going to sit down with a large bowl of ice cream and watch P.S I Love You with Trevor.
Cause I have blisters on my hands and we deserve a break....
Good night!
