Turkey.

We have lots of it.  We're not sure which one we will eat come thanksgiving  but I'm sure either one will taste great.  They better taste good; that's most of my garden that got them so fat.  The one on the left is 42 pounds and the one on the right is 25 pounds.  Holy turkey!

I love it.

I should be doing homework but instead I'm posting more pictures of the kitchen.  Oh well. That wall above the fridge and to the left and over to the vacuum is all going to be taken out as well.   Everything behind the fridge is going to be gone.  Trevor is having an electrician come out to take care of all the wires which is why we haven't taken out that part of the wall yet.  I know it seems dangerous to have those wires out but I think our kids are  old enough to understand don't touch.  I hope so at least...

Joshua

Joshua made himself a paper mache mask.  He couldn't decide if he was President Obama or Curious George.  I think he just looks cute.

Demolition.

I thought this day would never come. I have looked forward to tearing down this wall since we moved in. There was so much dust. Everywhere. Luckily I have it all cleaned up today..until tonight when we have to do more.  I found Trevor to be so attractive when he was ripping apart walls...it was so manly. Of course, he's always a sexy beast but still... (my kids are going to be so grossed out to read that) Here is the finished (for now, until tonight) picture: (I messed around with my photo editing tools on my computer. That's why it looks weird.) I am loving my bigger kitchen! I am loving it, loving it, loving it!  I am so beyond happy with it. It was the best decision. We have another part of the wall to rip out and some electrical work to be done but it's more than halfway finished. I can't wait to install the floor and move around the appliances. We aren't redoing the whole kitchen right now but we will get a lot done. The most important thing w...

Sunday night we ate around the coffee table, in front of the fire.  And we listened to Pandora's Bill Cosby station.  It was a great night.  We laughed a lot and were really, really, really   warm.

DONE!

Image
I am so done with Halloween candy. (I'm a little embarrassed that you can see my dirty softener dispenser. oh well. I guess it could be worse.)  There are wrappers everywhere. Am I the only one who does not check pockets before washing clothes?  The people in my house are old enough and responsible enough to check their own pockets. So for the sake of my washer, I am so DONE with all the candy.  (I write that as I sit here eating a mini butterfinger and little candy pumpkins.  However, I use the trash can.)

The weekend.

Joshua ate all of his candy.  And left every single one of his wrappers in random places around the house.  I'm so glad it's gone.   Trevor and Stephen installed the new chimney.  Yay! They were both pretty nervous to be on the roof but they survived.  Look at that blue sky! Saturday was such a beautiful day.   Joshua got to go into the attic and find Trevors phone.  It was buried under insulation.  We could hear it ring but couldn't figure out where it was coming from... Thank goodness Spidey was there to help us out. We had stake conference today and so we were done with church by noon.  It made it such an awesomely long day! Annabelle made some delicious cinnamon rolls:  We ate them while we watched AFV.  We're so glad that show is back... Joshua was Emilys shoulder angel for the evening (sometimes shoulder devil). Trevor fell asleep on my shoulder for awhile while I read An...

Halloween.

Image
Our Spiderman:  Our Cubs player:  Our Minnie Mouse who didn't like her costume:  Our Mario(a): (we didn't get a picture of her costume since  she went  out with some friends) And a mean dad and a college student: (FYI I asked Trevor what he was dressed up as and that's what he said. I think he's the BEST dad.) (We both look a little crazy cause we feel a little crazy~ that's what Halloween does to us.) Want to remember our previous crazy halloweens? Click on links: 2012 2011
