We're Moving!!!

To Boise, Idaho. Trevor applied for a job last friday and today they called and offered him the job. He is going to be a sales rep for Sherwin. It is like being a manager only instead of running a store, he will be bringing business to the stores in his area. It will be mainly going to businesses and keeping relationships with the current customers. He will do awesome at this job! He will sell to property managment businesses and instead of mostly paint, it will be mostly carpet and a little paint. He starts on the 12th of November so we are getting everything in order now. Im a little scared but a in a good way. We have been praying about this decision for about a week now and it feels good. The only thing I am concerned about is the girls switching schools. Im sure they will be fine but i still worry! I think we might be hotel dwellers for a couple of weeks until we find a place to live. Anyways I thought you all might want to know. Im sure we will be talking to you all soon! Wish ...

Its that time again!!!!

It is now the season to start making Chewy Ginger Bars!!! They are the best low fat Christmas dessert ever. The Barwicks already have this recipe but for all you who do not, here it is-  2 cups of flour 2 tsps. of baking powder  1 tsp. of ginger 1 tsp. of cinnamon  1/8 tsp of cloves 1/2 cup of butter 1 3/4 cup of brown sugar 2 eggs 1/4 cup molasses ( or sub honey)  1 tsp of vanilla  powdered sugar  Grease a 9/13 inch pan. In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, and spices. Set aside. In a saucepan melt butter. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time (careful not to cook them!lol). Stiring until combined. Add molasses and vanilla. Gradually add in the flour mixture. Stir only until combined. Spread batter in prepared pan. Bake in a 350 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until center appears set. The center will sink slightly. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top. Cut into bars. Or just grab a fork and snack ...

RUNNING!

So today I went running which isn't too unusual but this time it didn't kick my butt!!! I'm so excited. It seems lately whenever I would go running, I would get winded and I never really got into a groove. Today I finally realized that I was just trying to keep too fast of a pace. So I slowed down a bit and was able to keep going without having to catch my breath. I feel great like I got a really good workout. This coming spring I am possibly going to run The Wasatch Relay race ( I think that is what it is called). Right now I am an alternate until someone drops out. In the next couple of weeks Im going to have to pick up my pace and really start training so wish me luck! I will definitley need it!!!

HILARIOUS!!!!

This is classic! Enjoy!

My baby is growing!!

Joshua gained over a pound in one month. We are so excited!!! He's getting chubby and healthy. I will lay him down in the front room and leave and about ten minutes later he is in another room all together. He loves to be on the floor and experiencing new things and seeing new things. He's getting older too fast! We had parent teacher conferences today for the girls and I am so proud of them. Since this is my blog, I figure I can brag so here I go- Annabelles teacher said she is one of her top students. She said she is so bright and such a sweet little girl. I already knew that but its nice to hear it from others!! Emilys teacher said pretty much the same thing about her. She said that Emily is very self directed and when told to do something stays right on task. I just wish she would stay on task here at home when she has to do the dishes!! Just kidding!! I have great kids and I love to hear their teachers say good things about them. Trevor and I cleaned up all the apples in ...

She is now married!! We are so excited for her and Adam. It was a beautiful wedding. They got married in the Bountiful Temple and it was the first time me or Trevor had been there. It was really nice. We had a great weekend with all the family. Aren't these dresses so pretty? Trevors mom made them and they are now the kids Christmas dresses. You can never be prepared early enough!!!! We haven't even gotten our Halloween costumes yet. Anna has decided that she is going to be a bumblebee which is a good thing since she now has a habit of constantly buzzing- don't ask me why she does it, she is just my wonderfully quirky child! Emily is going to be a witch and Im not sure yet about Stephen or Joshua. Well, Im done updating- Trevor went to the temple tonight and will be home any minute with my Dairy Queen blizzard- yummy!! Thank you Amy for sending me the pictures!
