what a beautiful mess

Friday night while making nachos, I looked around and noticed that everyone was doing exactly what they enjoy doing. So I thought I would share that with you all! Here is Emily doing one of her favorites- helping mom make dinner. She is getting to be such a big help. In this picture she is actually browning meat, she then grated all the cheese. Very impressive! Annabelle is doing what she is ALWAYS doing- art. She loves it. Usually you can find her sitting in this spot making something. Here she is making a book for me. Its The Dog Book. And then there is Stephen, shooting his gun. He loves all his guns and has a good collection going. He really likes it when his sisters and his dad plays with him. Joshua is in his usual spot. He is eating fishies and laughing. Exactly what he loves to do. He has such a good nature about him. He is very easygoing and he is truly the baby of our family! We had so much fun with Grandma Haslem last weekend! We just had to showoff for her. This is our latest accomplishment. Trevor does the best headstands out of us all! Thank you Grandma for coming and staying with us! We only wish it could have been longer!

So thank you Stacey for tagging me. The only people that read this blog is family and a few close friends that pretty much know everthing about me but i will try to come up with things you had no idea about me! 1- I pick my hair endlessy, the split ends but I always pull the hair out-or at least I did before December 1st. That is my New Years resolution and was my worst habit. Mind over matter and Im done! 2-I love to bake. Cooking is okay but I love to bake. Trevor can never start trying to eat healthy because he would force me to stop doing something I love. I bake bread, cookies,and cakes at least 3 times a week. Luckily I generally won't eat things I bake unless there is chocolate in it. Or bread. And cake during the day. Actually with cakes, I leave a fork in it and take bites all throughout the day. So I guess I do eat things I bake. Oh well. Okay last one- 3- I actually like to get my pictures taken. Well I don't like it but if its going to be taken, I have to feel like...

Anna and Stephen got to play outside today in the snow and loved it. I think Anna could stay playing in the snow forever if we let her. This morning Annabelle came to me and told me to come and see Joshua. This is what I saw. Here is our front room. Just a plain old front room. Notice the vacuum. Yes, I do do housework! Actually I was moving the girls art table from their room to the front room. Hopefully it will help them to keep it tidy. Plus I will be watching like a hawk making sure it is clean! Here is another picture of our front room. The chest that the tv is sitting on used to be a dresser that trevor and I redid. It was a lot of fun to do. That is our house. I would have taken one of our bedroom but trevor wouldn't take the swing down!!! HA HA HA!!! Just kidding obviously! We are counting down the days until a year is up and we can have our own place again. Although we are very blessed to be where we are. So far we love Boise. It is feeling more like home all the time...

We finally got our new camera. Im so excied although a little bummed that we did not have it before Christmas. My mom took some pictures that I will upload one day so until then I will post ramdom ones- starting tomorrow!Its 11:30 and i'm tired. Im so excited to use it that you may get sick of seeing pictures on here but oh well! We are now officially done with Pocatello. Our house is closed and we have Trevors truck here. He was so excited to get it. I just couldn't believe that it made it here from Pocatello. Well actually, at the exit to our house from the freeway, it died. But he just needed to be pushed to start it again. So no big deal. It made it and we were happy! The girls go back to school tomorrow. Its been nice having them here and i will definitley miss them. But I love routine and since they have been home there has not been much of one. It'll be nice to settle back in again. Tomorrow there will be pictures so come back and see!
