My favorite things!

I read a blog that is doing a "favorite things party" (you know, like Oprah)http://granvillehouse.blogspot.com/
So, I decided to do one also and have anyone who reads my blog (is there anyone out there??) to do one themselves! Here I go:
I love lamps, especially unique ones...
Sonic Route 44 Diet Dr. Pepper (which, I might add, I am trying to stop drinking...)
Chili's Chips and Salsa are the BEST! It's a common occurence in our house to run down to Chili's to-go and pick up a bag of these and watch The Office or Psych.
Nachos, especially on Friday nights when its Nacho Movie night!
The look of old books. I just love these ones.....

My window seat which is coming along quite nicely. This picture is not it but it's going to look very similiar to it (minus the fanciness....)

My sister, Candice, who moved here about two months ago, and I am LOVING it! Now if only I could get my other sisters to move here too (and my mom and dad and brother and his family!)

I've got lots more favorite stuff just not ones with images.

Like how Trevor has been working so hard to get the window seat done after he just barely got done with the fireplace (and he doesn't complain when I tell him the next 3 projects I have for him to do!)

And when my kids are so perfectly well behaved... definitley a favorite, it just doesn't happen very often. I guess if they were always perfectly well behaved, I wouldn't appreciate it so much! So now I want to know what your favorite stuff is! If "you" are even there!

Hi Sarahjean! We used to live in northwest Nampa by the Idaho Center~we loved it there! I love old books and sisters are my favorites too:) Thanks for sharing with us all~

Dog and Cat...Stevens, that is.

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. It took me watching the movie Harold and Maude to really listen to his music. Wow. And hey, I'm not going to be shy.  I'm going to sing out to the wild world that I love his songs. (if you also like Cat Stevens, then you'll understand the previous sentence...)

Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
