I want to blog, Im just not sure what about...

Im feeling a tad random and a tad nostalgic. I don't know why. Maybe it's because my screen saver is of every single digital picture I have ever taken~ just keeps flipping through those photos.
Trevor and I often feel the need to be simpler. But then we remember that we are "simpletons" Really, how much simpler could we get?
It's a good thing.

Me, this morning, courtesy of Stephen.
Trevor, about 5 minutes ago. He doesn't go to bed without me, he just falls asleep wherever I am. I love it. Which is probably why he does it.
Us as we usually are, on the couch, talking, watching t.v., taking random pictures of ourselves.  


So there you go. Now I'm off to bed. After I wake up Trevor so we can go upstairs together...
He's my best friend, you know.

We consider ourselves "simple" too. That doesn't necessarily make me feel self righteous -or- jealous of others... It's just who we are, and we are happy this way. :o)
I love your "random" blogging. And I love the example you & Trevor set of the true love you have for one another. There is *real* happiness in your family, and I can feel that... even across the country in Georgia.

Dog and Cat...Stevens, that is.

Lately, Carl is the only one who gets naps. (unless it's Sunday...then Trevor and I both demand one) If I was a big, hairy dog, I would expect naps everyday also and would just lay down where ever I wanted to (even it it was in everyone's way). You can just catch a glimpse of my moccasins. And trust me they.are.cute. I love  madewell . My new favorite singer this week? Cat Stevens. It took me watching the movie Harold and Maude to really listen to his music. Wow. And hey, I'm not going to be shy.  I'm going to sing out to the wild world that I love his songs. Prayers

We have just received news that earlier today my sister Amy and her family have been in a car accident. Tim and the five kids are okay, although banged up, but Amy is in the ICU. They hit hail while driving and the car rolled 3 times and Amy was ejected from the car. All we know so far is that she has broken ribs and  punctured lungs. Please, please please pray for her and her family. Thank you.

Ralph the dog.

Morning at my house is so bright and lovely~that is, as long as it's not snowing or preparing to snow. I made Annabelle open the curtains first thing this morning. When my mornings start out like this, warm and bright, it just makes me happy. Today Joshua decided to be a dog. A dog named Ralph. And Ralph loves raspberry sherbet. Ralph got really tired and is now resting while watching Shrek 2. Not my favorite movie but whatever... I think I misspoke yesterday when I wrote that I/we had big decisions to make. There's nothing out of the ordinary except for, you know, the usual. And the fact that we found out yesterday that both girls need braces; Emily now or at least soon and Annabelle in a year or so. And Stephen has possibly two developing cavities. At this moment in time, I am very, extremely, incredibly grateful for dental insurance. That may not be the case in a few months but I'm not thinking about that...and I'm trying to no...
